Osanty Luda (Baetolau Farmers Association Coordinator)
Osanty Ludawane has farming experience more than 30 years in the Lau/Mbaelelea. He involves in both root crops and melon farming, which recently, a strong advocator for organic farming method.

Hailed from Lafumasi Artificial Island, Lau Lagoon, Osanty is a catalyst of the organic farming revolution which sweeps across the Baelelea, Toabaita, into the coast and artificial islands of the Lau Lagoon.

He attended some trainings and planning workshops with the Kastom Gaden Association in crop and livestock developments.



Lawrence Timothy Aldo (Baetolau Farmers Association Chairman)

He is a primary teacher by profession.

He quit teaching to take up Agriculture in early 2012. Timothy comes from a farming family background. His father and the founding father of the Baetolau Farmers Association, Lawrence Aldo inspires Timo to follow the legacy of cultivating the land to help securing prosperous future in the rural areas.

Though young, Mr. Timothy shows young aspiring leaders the way by leading an Association of nearly 500 farmers to turn food into business.

Timothy comes from Takwa Center, North Malaita.
